Windows 10 and Windows 8 show by default the drive letter of attached devices, and most people find this very handy, but in some cases you want them gone. We will explain how to disable and enable them.

Show Full Path in File Explorer.
1. Open File Explorer and open any random folder.
2. Click on View in the top bar.
3. Then click on Options
4. Now click on Change Folder and Search options
5. Click on the View tab
6. Uncheck the box: “Show Drive Letters”
7. Click on Apply and then OK
As you see, the File Explorer should now no longer show the drive letter of the attached drives and internal drives
