How To Remove CloudScout Adware.

CloudScout adware is what is known as a Browser Hijacker.

This piece of software will force ads on your browser, and ruin your browsing experience. You did not install CloudScout and you want to get rid of it, then this guide is for you. Lets get busy removing CloudScout, from your computer.

Remove Unknown Programs

Remove CloudScout from your computer, by uninstalling unknown programs. First thing that I would like you to do is, remove any recently installed programs you do not remember installing, from your add remove programs.

Hit the start button at the bottom left hand corner of your screen. Type or copy and paste appwiz.cpl into the Run/Start/Search Box. Hit enter.

Right click one at a time and select remove.

Use Revo Uninstaller to Remove Stubborn Related Programs.

Remove stubborn CloudScout related programs with Revo Uninstaller free.

If you do not know the program or it seems suspicious, then it may be related to CloudScout Adware.

 

 

Remove CloudScout from your computer with Junkware Removal Tool.

Junkware Removal Tool will remove CloudScout adware from your machine, with a few simple clicks.

Download Junkware-RemovalTool Save it to your desktop. Right Click the icon, select Run as Administrator.

To begin the scan Click any button.

Allow the scan to complete, it may take up ten minutes to complete.

Once complete a log will appear on your desktop, detailing what was removed.

Remove CloudScout from Google Chrome, Firefox, & Internet Explorer with Adware Removal Tool.

Download Adware removal tool to your desktop, right click the icon and select Run as Administrator.

Hit Ok.

Hit next make sure to leave all items checked, for removal.

The Program will close all open programs to complete the removal, so save any work and hit OK. Then hit OK after the removal process is complete, then OK again to finish up.

Remove CloudScout malicious files from your browsers, with Adware Cleaner.

Download Adware-Cleaner Save it to your desktop. Right Click the icon, select Run as Administrator.

To begin Click the Scan button.

Allow the Scan to complete, then click the Clean(ing) button.

Adware Cleaner needs to reboot your machine, to complete the removal process. This is normal, allow the program to reboot your machine.

 

Remove CloudScout with Reason Core Security

Install the program and run a Full Scan, then remove any infections found, this is a free program as well. It will run alongside your current antivirus with no issues.

Remove CloudScout virus leftovers,  with Eset Online Scanner

Now lets move onto the ESET online Scanner. Temporarily disable your Anti Virus If you are unsure how to do so, Follow this guide.

Click Here to download the scanner, save it to your desktop.
Right Click this image, on your desktop. Select Run as Administrator.

Tick the box to accept the terms, then click Start.

Make sure all the settings are the same as the picture below.

This scan can take a long time, be patient it is normal.

Make sure to tick uninstall application on close, also delete quarantined files.

 

Finally if this step is needed, then please reset your browsers to default to remove CloudScout.

At this point you may need to reset your browsers to default settings, to make sure all traces of CloudScout are completely  gone.

To Prevent this type of infection happening again.I suggest you download and install unchecky. This software will prevent unwanted software, from being hidden in legit installs. Sometimes we forget to uncheck useless software when installing wanted programs.Your computer should now be free, of the CloudScout adware infection.
