How to use Google Search instead of Bing with Cortana?

Many users love Google Search more than they love Bing. Personally I don’t really have a favor, both are fine for finding stuff on the web. However Windows 10 users do perhaps want the option to choose which search engine handles its requests.

Chrometana

The Extension Chrometana allows you to redirect your bing searches through Google or DuckDuckGo and Yahoo. All that you have to do is install the Chrome Plugin Chrometana and make sure Google Chrome is your default search engine and your ready to go.  You can download and install the extension here

To make sure the extension works for you make sure these things are activated.

  • Background Apps in Google Chrome
  • Default Search Engine

Of course you do need to have Google Chrome installed. Without it, it won’t work.
