Let’s say that for whatever reason you don’t like to look of your Windows installation anymore, now what can you do. You could for instance give your Windows a overhauwl. And what is more fun then to make it look like the biggest concurrent of Microsoft, Apple. Thanks to the guys at SkinPack you can also make your Windows installation looks like Mac OS X Yosemite.
Installation
You can go to the SkinPacks site to download your own version. You can read more on how to install or uninstall the Skin.
Thank you for sharing this, although I was curious as to why you deliberately zipped past the fact that you accepted several known malware and adware programs (YouTube Accelerator, ShopperPro, Apps Hat, FilesFrog Updates ) during the course of the installation of this skin. http://goo.gl/YdsXBw http://goo.gl/rb673m http://goo.gl/gQR9eR http://goo.gl/6wLT60
Seriously, if you’re going to allege you have a passion, don’t taint it by being so stupid as to think that people aren’t going to check up on what you’re trying to sell to avoid these very issues
Hello Christopher,
Thank you for your reaction on Google+ and on WindowsInstructed, I truly value your reaction and have taken temporarily steps and added a warning above the post.
I will evaluate the installer on a virtual machine and will then decide on how to proceed with this article.
If you feel any need to contact me personally then feel free to use the feedback button on the left and I will contact you as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely,
Yuri
Hi Christopher, Thank you for reading my article and your report on it. When I downloaded the software, I wasn’t asked to install those programs as I would have never promoted it if I knew! Let me just make one thing clear; I will never review or ask people to install stuf I get payed for!
Me and Yuri will re-review the installer and remove the article if those software is indeed included in the installer. If so I’m very sorry for my error and will make sure something like this wil never happen again!
Pepjin, the PUP are clearly indicated in the above installation video. The only reason I started to investigate further was because I’ve learned to read in advance all the stuff I’m checking before allowing a program to install. I used to get myself into all sorts of trouble when I wasn’t paying attention.
I’m sorry about the harshness of my comment, and I’m glad you took the time to get back to me.
